“I was raised by a hardworking father who often struggled with alcohol. Growing up, I felt alone and began using drugs at 14, starting my long battle with addiction. At 22, I became a father and tried to change, but addiction continued to control my life.

In 2025, I overdosed twice and nearly lost my life. After being saved by paramedics, I cried out to God for help. Soon after, I entered detox, where I learned about Harvest House and chose to enter their recovery program.

During my time in the program, my faith has grown and my relationship with God has deepened. After nearly six months in recovery, I have a peace and freedom I had not previously known. I plan to continue attending church and chapel after completing the program. I look forward to returning to my electrical career and to being a strong father to my daughter.”
